How can I change the size of the text on the printable cards?
I am printing them for my Kanban board and the team cannot read the text from their desks.

Unfortunately, you cannot change the font size used for the printable cards. I will add this as a suggestion to our backlog. Thank you for your feedback.

Thank you for your quick answer.
It is unfortunate (but understandable) that it is not possible yet.
This could be a problem for us, so I would appreciate it if you could you let me know how much priority you will attach to this before we purchase a licence. -

I understand your concern. The print feature has been introduced in Urban Turtle 3.11 and we have received very little feedback on it. The fact that this feature is very basic is completely on purpose. If you have other suggestions, we would be very happy to hear them!

I am new to the Urban Turtle product, so was unaware it was still in it's infancy. In fact, the print feature was one of the major things which attracted us to Urban Turtle over the competition in the first place!
In an ideal world I would be able to configure the cards to look as in the attached image. Please note that the configurable nature of this is the main desire, and not the end result!
I hope this helps.

1Urban Turtle actually uses the configuration for the Card view in the task board for the printed cards. While you cannot add more fields, you could choose to display another field in the bottom right corner for example.
Thanks a lot for your feedback! -

I have made the changes to allow this already, but as far as I can tell, I cannot include a truncated description or a title in a larger font.
Thanks for your help so far! -

1You're right, there is no way to change the font or force the truncation of a field. It would probably preferable if the printing feature had its own section in the configuration file. We had thought of doing this initially but decided to use the task board card view configuration in order to meet the release date. A future version of the application will probably add a dedicated configuration section.- view 1 more comment

We have received a lot of customer requests and prioritization is ongoing. While this is rather high in the backlog, I cannot give you a release time-frame.

Hi - Just stated using Urban Turtle Print feature - It's a great start however, one of the key features missing is the ability to configure what is printed out; for example we need to print the the Conditions of Satisfaction on User Stories. Also, the text size is key in making the Task Board readable from a distance.

This suggestion is already on our backlog. I will add your vote to it. Thank you for your feedback!

I just read on a earlier posting that :
"Louis Pellerin (Official Rep) 1 month ago
Urban Turtle actually uses the configuration for the Card view in the task board for the printed cards." This way I may be able to get the conditions of satisfaction printed out - just not sure where to configure Urban Turtle as it gets rolled out with our TFS Collection. -

Here is a blog post that will help you get started with the configuration files. You should be able to locate the section that corresponds to the task board card view and change the fields that are displayed. Just note that you are restricted to a maximum of three configurable fields.
I must also point out that the configuration is used for both the card view in the task board and when printing out to the pdf file. Displaying the description/cos field on the task board will most likely result in display issues since this field is so large. However, you can quickly toggle between different configuration files using the Configuration option from the Project menu. You could switch to the configuration for printing work items when you actually need to print them, and revert to the previous one when you're done. -

Louis, I work with Sina, and I'm trying to add your suggestion but I can't figure out the correct place in the configuration file to update. It is for the user stories that we need the additional fields.

You cannot add more fields as there is a limit of three configurable fields. The fields used in the pdf are taken from the ColumnCards section in the configuration file. The Id, Work Item Type and Title fields are hard coded, but you can change the bottom left and right corner fields. These fields correspond to the second and the third fields/sections in the configuration file, in the ColumnCards section.

We have stumbled across this issue as well.
Cards that are printed are too small for our Kanban board.
+1 for moving it up the backlog priority order! -
