Drag-n-drop items to create parent-child relationships
Need to be able to drag-n-drop items to create parent-child relationships in both planning and task boards. Linking/re-linking items by hand is time-consuming and tedious.

Thank you for your feedback. I've added your suggestion to our backlog.

Is this feature going to be implemented soon? Not having this feature can be a deal breaker if compared with something like RallyDev.

The priority of this feature is still not high enough to plan it in the next few sprints. We also don't want to rush this as this would introduce a third "drop zone" for work items on the planning board (ranking, planning, and now linking). This could become confusing and we want to avoid this.
Could you tell us more about why you need this feature or how you would use it? Maybe we could come up with alternative solutions? -

I wanted to remove a task to another user story, but this doesn't seem to work. Is this a nice feature for a next version?

We too would like this ability to move work items and create/update parent-child relationship. The idea is when in a Spring meeting while we are prioritizing User Stories/Requirements etc. we don't want to go back to TFS to establish relationships. Much easier to use the drag-and-drop feature of UT.

I think a feature like this makes sense in the planning board but not as much in the task board.

I would like this both in the planning board and task board. In both places it has value.

Is there any way to drag n drop an item from one user story to another. It would be very helpful to be able to do this.

This functionality is requested by us as well in this topic:

So I guess this can be merged as well. -

It would be great if a task can be moved to another product backlog or bug item in the plan board.
