Filter Task Board by assigned to
It would be nice if we could filter the task board by person (assigned to).

Urban Turtle 3.7 is now available and includes an option to select the active user on the task board and highlight his or her tasks. Check it out!

You would like to have the ability to hide all work items except the ones that are assigned to a specific user?

Yes, that correct. This way in the teams standup meeting they can easily focus on the tasks assigned to a user.

As you know, Urban Turtle automatically assigns tasks to the current user when tasks are dropped on the In Progress column. We're working on a feature that would allow you to choose whom to assign the task instead of always using the logged-in user. We're also discussing adding the ability to highlight the selected user's tasks, but not hide the other tasks.
What do you think about this idea? -

The "highlight" feature is definitely a step in the right direction. We'd still like the ability to either group tasks by the "assigned to" field, or completely remove tasks from view based on the "assigned to" field. Even with the highlight box checked, there is a lot of vertical scrolling required to fully grasp what an individual user has on his/her plate for the sprint.

Thank you for your feedback. If you create an idea from your comment, I'll add it to our backlog.
However, here's some food for thought. We try to keep our product close to the Scrum methodology. In Scrum, the Sprint Backlog belongs to the team. A team member should only have one assigned item at any one time. I believe it is important that the team sees what on the team's plate, as the plate is there for all to share.-
Yes, I agree with you on the Scrum team concept. I just started a new job and I'm trying to slowly transition the team in that direction, however, at this time we are still holding on the concept of individual ownership of tasks because of the nature of our work. We're an internal IT department, and as such, don't really have a "project" that we're all working on together. We just have a lot of tasks to accomplish.
All that said, I feel that giving us the option to group by user doesn't hurt the more scrummy folks, as they can simply not group that way.
I'll throw this in as an idea. Thanks for a great product. -
