Sorry if this is an elementary question, but how do I delete a user story? I see on the website that there is a trash can icon that you can drag your work items into, but I don't see that on my version. Do I not have correct permissions in TFS?
In this use case, we need to have the user story removed completely, not resolved (ie, it's an invalid story and we will never work on it)
Thanks!

Depending on your process template, the recycle bin icon may not be present. This feature requires a Removed or Deleted state (the exact state is configurable) in your work item transitions. We have a blog post which describes how to create such a state and enable this feature for the MSF Agile 5.0 process template.
If you wish to completely remove a work item from TFS, then you need to use a command line utility. Please refer to this blog post for this as it cannot be accomplished from Urban Turtle. Usually, you should not delete work items for audit purposes. -
