How to fill a sprint with sample data

Hello,

I have to present a small demo of Urban Turtle to some colleagues. I can create a product backlog, stories, tasks and sprints. However, I would like to create a sprint with some sample data to have a burn down chart. How can I create historical data ? Can I simulate that yesterday I changed the remaining time of a work item?

PS: I’m using the MS-Scrum 1.0 template with TFS 2010, would it be simpler using the Agile template?

As far as I know, this can only be done programmatically by editing the TFS database tables directly. I would not recommend it. It would be easier to simulate a one-week sprint and adjust the task board each day.

  I'm not entirely sure, but Microsoft's virtual machine that's available with a trial version of Visual Studio 2010 and TFS 2010 may have historical data. It's a large download, but it's a good way to trial Urban Turtle without having to create your own test environment (or impacting your production server).
