Independant scrolling of Work Item list in Planning Board

Can the facility be provided to scroll the work item list independantly of the Area/Iteration selector on the left hand side in the Planning board? If I need to scroll down the list of work items then the sprint I want to drag the work item can be scrolled out of view.

This suggestion is actually already in our backlog. For now, you must rely on the different filtering options to reduce the size of the work item list.
