Setting up Urban Turtle on multiple TFS app servers.

Unfortunately, we don't have a recommended solution for such a setup. Configuration and settings are machine-based and cannot be shared between multiple servers. Each server will have its own Urban Turtle installation, configuration, user settings and license file.

Do you have any plans or see a need to support this in the near future? For large enterprises a setup like is is inevitable at some point. Moving to store configuration info in SqlServer would complicate setup slightly, but allow for this type of enterprise configuration.

We do understand that there is a need to support this in the future. We do not have any actual plans regarding an implementation of centralized configuration storage.

Storing this information in SQL Server would indeed complicate setup and we really prefer keeping things as simple as possible.

There may be the possibility of overriding the location of the configuration and settings files. These could be stored inside a shared folder. Would this work for you?

Yes, configuring a shared folder location would work just fine. I agree that staying out of SQLServer is preferable!
