Iteration statistics should be calculated based on the area selected.
I have three separate Scrum teams which use the area to separate their work (a common practice in TFS). When Team1 selects their area "Team1" they should see the sprint statistics only for their sprint items (# of work items, # done, # story points, etc.).
Accordingly, if I select the root area, i would see the statistics for the whole project for that iteration.

We have a similar setup.
Although the sprint burndown now takes the filter into account the statistics do not in UT3.5.
If the 'commit' link is clicked is the filter then taken into account? If not then the first team will commit everything also for other teams which is not desired of course. -
