Task colors
One of the things i miss from the real cards on a board is havign different color cards for different areas (dev, design, qa, doc tasks etc) but all the UT tasks are yellow. am i missing a way to do this for a better visual representation?

You cannot set different colors for different areas. Colors are strictly based on the work item type.Comment

Is the ability to do this going to be added ever? i know that there is no way to really knwo when a task is a specific type of task, but i would love to be able to on task creation make it a specific color manually...

There are currently no plan to implement this. I can add your suggestion to our backlog, and if it proves to be a popular request, its priority will increase.
