Windows 7 + IIS and IE9 doesn't work

Hi Turtles !

After installing UrbanTurtle on a Windows 7 ultimate machine (with TFS Basic and all of the IIS features installed), when logging into Web Access, I see the 2 UrbanTurtle tabs, but when I click on them I get an error.

I am using IE9 Beta.

Thanks, Erik.

  • Urban Turtle requires write access to its installation folder in order to upload the licence. While access is automatically granted to this folder upon installation, Internet Explorer security settings can still block access to it.

Make sure Intranet Settings are enabled in Internet Explorer. The first time you access an intranet resource (such as localhost), Internet Explorer displays an information bar that allows you to activate Intranet Settings in one click. If you have dismissed this message, you will need to manually edit the security settings.

Go to Tools, Options, Security. Select Local Intranet, and then click Sites:

Clear the ‘Automatically detect intranet network’ checkbox and review the other settings on that window:

You can find more information about how to enable intranet settings here.

Don't forget to restart your IIS web server for the security changes to take effect.
